There’s no fuss here. We laugh and drink to the pleasure of being and celebrating together. There’s always a good opportunity to meet up at Le Bistrot de La Verniaz. However many people there are, 2, 4, 6, 8 or even more. Here’s to bringing the generations together, to life’s celebrations, friends gathered around a big table, travel and work companions.

The setting is traditional, through its colour scheme and wooden tables, bucolic with its view over the gardens, and it also has the look of an elegant “guinguette” open-air restaurant with its large sunny terrace open in the summer. The Chef’s menu affirms this bistro feel, going back to basics with seasonal ingredients produced with passion by local men and women, such as Pierre Pecquery’s ‘Du Léman à l’océan’ fishmongers, cured meats from Simon Michoud, and Jean-Claude Cartailler’s snail farm in Chevenoz, to name but a few.

Our chef is on hand to cater to any special dietary requirements. Please mention these to the Maître d’hôtel at the time of booking.

Children are welcome with a children’s menu priced at 18€. (Highchair available upon request.)

- Wednesday to Sunday for lunch, from midday to 1.30 p.m.

- Wednesday to Saturday for dinner from 7 p.m. to 8.30 p.m.

Dogs are not allowed inside the restaurant
